What is Mahtari Vandan Yojana?

Mahtari Vandan Yojana is Chhattisgarh government's flagship women empowerment scheme launched in February 2024. Every married woman in Chhattisgarh receives ₹1,000 per month (₹12,000/year) directly to her Aadhaar-linked bank account via DBT. Over 70 lakh married women across all 33 districts of Chhattisgarh benefit from this scheme.
