What is CM Nishulk Dawa Yojana Rajasthan?
Mukhyamantri Nishulk Dawa Yojana (MNDWY) is Rajasthan's flagship free medicine scheme providing 712 essential medicines, 127 surgical items, and 181 suture materials completely free at all government hospitals and health centres. Launched in 2011, over 67 crore OPD visits have been covered. No means testing — available to ALL patients visiting government facilities. Rajasthan's scheme is considered the best state medicine scheme in India and has been studied as a model nationwide.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive 712 free medicines + 127 surgical items + 181 sutures — absolutely free at all Rajasthan govt hospitals. The scheme was launched in 2011 and is implemented by the Government of Rajasthan.
