What is Lakshmir Bhandar?
Lakshmir Bhandar is West Bengal government's flagship women welfare scheme providing monthly financial assistance of ₹1,500 to General/OBC women and ₹1,700 to SC/ST women aged 25–60 years. Amount is transferred via DBT directly to Aadhaar-linked bank accounts.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive ₹1,500/month (General/OBC) — ₹1,700/month (SC/ST). The scheme was launched in 2021 and is implemented by the Government of West Bengal.
