What is Krishi Aashirwad Yojana JH?
Mukhyamantri Krishi Aashirwad Yojana (MKAY) is Jharkhand government's farmer income support scheme providing ₹5,000 per acre per year (up to maximum 5 acres = ₹25,000/year) to small and marginal farmers with land up to 5 acres. Launched in 2019, the scheme is specifically designed to supplement PM-KISAN for the large number of small farmers in Jharkhand's tribal regions. Amount is transferred in Kharif season directly to Aadhaar-linked bank accounts via DBT. Over 14 lakh small and marginal farmers benefit annually.
