What is Ambedkar Vasati Yojana?
Dr B R Ambedkar Vasati Yojana is Karnataka's housing scheme for SC and ST families. Beneficiaries get ₹1.5 lakh (normal area) to ₹3 lakh (difficult/hilly terrain) for construction of a house on their own land. The scheme is implemented by Karnataka Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Development Corporation. Over 6 lakh houses built under this scheme.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive ₹1.5 lakh to ₹3 lakh for house construction on own land — SC/ST families in Karnataka. The scheme was launched in 2000 and is implemented by the Government of Karnataka.

If consumption exceeds 200 units, the first 200 units are free and the remaining are billed at applicable BESCOM/CESC rates. Only the excess amount must be paid.
How to get Anna Bhagya rice in Karnataka?+
Eligible NFSA ration cardholders (BPL, AAY, PHH) collect the free 10 kg rice per person per month from their designated Fair Price Shop (ration shop). Show your ration card and Aadhaar at the shop.
